We use a select range of timber species which are harvested locally. As an example, Victorian Blackwood, a highly decorative timber is used to make our leather sling chairs and marble top coffee tables. Small amounts of this timber are collected from fallen trees in central Victoria.
Exotic species such as English and American Oak are used in tables and some chairs. American Oak is plantation grown, and a renewable resource. English Oak is available in small quantities having been milled from fallen timber. A variety of other timber species can be sourced as required, with appropriate consideration given to provenance.
